The Dogs are Blessed

The Dogs have never been much of a religious band.... that is, until now. This Sunday (AUGUST 2nd) The Dogs will be playing the blessing of the animals service at Countryside Unitarian Universalist Church in Palatine IL. We will be blessing the shit out of some animals YOOOOOO!!!! If you want to ensure that your cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters, snakes, fishes, and what ever you consider a pet is properly blessed, come over to Palatine and listen to some great music while your pets soak in the holyest of the holy blessings.

In other news, the dogs will be adding two more dates very soon!!! (lets just say that you may want to keep your August 14th and 15th open)

The Buzz Recap/ Lafayette Show Cancelled :(

Great show at the Buzz Cafe yesterday. Shout out to all the peeps who came out to our first acoustic show of the summer. On to the not so good news. We have to cancel our show tonight at the Skylight Coffeehouse. I (james) have come down with flu and have been unable to get out the house, much less get to Indiana. Sorry for the inconvenience - we still love you Lafayette and we will try to make it there soon.

Show at Val's Halla tomorrow is STILL ON.

Thanks for Coming out

We want to thank everyone who came out to Reggies last saturday. We had a blast playing in the small space behind the counter and rocking the hell out of the record store. Hopefully you guys found some good music to add to the collection (I know I did.... Reactor!!!).

We have now entered the full time recording mode. Lots of work to be done, but at the end of the summer we should have a masterpiece on our hands. We will be announcing at least one new date this week and there should be hopefully two more dates to come. Keep checking back at the blog.

If you're 21+, come check us out at the Elbo Room next monday. We set up this cool thing where our concert will stream live over the internet so even if you can't come, you could listen live or on your own time. More details to come when we've got 'em.

So Crazy, Tires were Slashed

We want to thank everyone for coming out to the Viaduct last Saturday. It was an awesome night of music and art. We personally had our best concert probably ever (for 116 people!). Even though my tires got slashed, it was still probably the best night of the summer. For all of those who missed the show, here are some clips of some of the songs we played (links to youtube vids below). We have now kicked it into full recording mode and will be making some retreats to Palantine in next couple days to get some serious work done.... get excited!!!

Everything is Broken
