December is Upon Us... Chicago Bound
Good Morning Pretentious Pre-Teen Pop Enthusiast!
If you haven't had a chance to check your calenders, let me be the first to inform you that we are knee deep in the dark, cold month of December. But there's good news: soon, your beloved Dogs will be reuniting in Chicago to finish our masterpiece, Camping. In the words of Mr. James F. Ponchos Krivchenia, "We are on the home stretch boys." Aka... expect to be hearing some new signals from us around the start of 2011. I don't want to give too much away, but lets just say we've got 15 gems on our hands and James just got the omnichord... you know whats up. Keep your eyes pealed for some potential secret Dogs shows in a basement near you/us walking around the streets of Chicago rocking some sweet 90's sweaters. I've been studying a lot of astronomy of late, and lets just say I'm starting to see The Dogs up in the sky amongst the stars (we're going to be famous!).
All we have is time...
Love,
Lord of Bass

ALBUM Details-------Camping
Alright, so I think it's about time we give ya'll some details on this new record!!! Recording is completely done and we've been mixing/tweaking for the last month or so. It's come along way but there is still much to be done, so it's probably safe to expect an early January release........but who knows.
In case you didn't know, the record is called Camping. #$%^E!#$%@%* so pumped. Most of the songs are really short and totally awesome. Alot of friends (and our old high school music teacher(!!), whatup Pearson) helped out and played on the album.
Keep checkin' this blog for updates, you might just want to make it your home page, fuck google.
So much love,
The Dogs

Dear Devoted fans,
We are currently recording the third full-length Dogs release. Things are moving smoothly and we have an entire new set of tunes to tickle your ear drums sooner than you can say Greendale. We're currently tracking violin, cello, trombone, and woodwinds. Many thanks to those who came out to the JUF cafe' this week to support us in our first show of the summer. Keep your eyes peeled for more Dogs updates.

R.I.P. Puppy
Very sad news... The Dogs have lost one of our most beloved fans/family members/the queen of all pets: Jordan "Puppy" Bachmann died from heart failure today at the age of 13. She was basically the best/biggest baller dog you could ever imagine. Hopefully she is running and eating chocolate in dog heaven. We will miss you Puppy!
Much Love,
Matt

Motor City Rocks reviews The Dogs
Pretty crazy/awesome review from the talented writers over at Motor City Rocks. Basically they reviewed our album as they were listening for the first time..............and we got a 3.8/5 (let it sink guys it'll be a 5 in no time). It's a funny, honest review, but be warned, they diss Neil Young (fuck that).
Check out the review HERE and dig their site.

Hello, Blogosphere. Nice to See you Again.
Ladies and gents,
Free Write has received its first criticism. For its first, I would say that things couldn't look better. Check out what Hans of "Here Comes the Flood" music blog had to say.
